Distance Between Front and Rear Suspension Hanger on Single Axle Trailers

Question:

I just purchased a set of your 6 leaf e94SR 6,000 lbs per pair trailer springs along with a pair of the 1159171 front hangers, a pair of the 30-20 rear hangers, and the shackle straps, and bolts to install these. Can you tell me what the spacing of the front/rear hangers should be center to center of the shackle bolt holes. I am not asking for axle placement front to rear, I just need to know once the front hangers are installed how far back the rear hangers needs to be installed in relation to the front hanger from the center of the front shackle bolt hole to the center of the rear shackle bolt hole. This is for a single axle trailer.

Helpful Expert Reply:

For single axle trailers you want the front and rear hangers to be the exact length of the leaf spring measured from eye center to eye center. So for the leaf spring part # e94SR you would need the hangers to be 26 inches apart.
