Solution for Allowing Curt Weight Distribution to Tow Trailer Level with Taller Tow Vehicle
Question:
I have a Curt WD hitch similar to C17052 that is about 10 years old. I used it on a Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator and Ram 1500 to pull a 2H BP horse trailer. I now have a Ram 3500 dually that I believe will need to have the hitch lowered. Unfortunately, the current WD hitch is already at its lowest sitting. Can I change out the L-shaped piece that s into the trucks hitch to allow for a lower ball height? Thanks!
