Question:
Can i use the elite series 30126 with a short bed 6 3/4 foot ? We had a 16 k above bed rail hitch on our previous short bed truck and never used the slider option once in 3 years.

For your 2015 Ford F-250 short bed the Reese Elite rail kit part # RP30126 is the correct kit to use.
Depending on the shape of the nose of the trailer you can use a stationary hitch in a short bed truck. For that you would want the part # RP30921. If it's the same trailer you plan to tow you would probably get away with this.
If instead you do need a slider hitch you would want the part # RP30144.
