Parts Required to Install Prodigy Trailer Brake Controller in 2015 Toyota Sienna
Question:
I recently purchased a trailer hitch and rear strut airbags from you and had them installed. They work great, but I am now being faced with a wiring problem. My vehicle is equipped with the OEM 2015 Toyota Sienna AWD XLE Premium tow wiring harness and 4 way connector and the trailer I will be towing has disk brakes and a 7 way connector. I would prefer to use the Tekonsha Brake Controller - TK94FR as it would give me more flexibility for what I tow my boat with, but for my Sienna how would I make this work?

Expert Reply:
The Prodigy RF brake controller # TK94FR is not compatible with the electric-over-hydraulic trailer disc brake actuator that is installed on your trailer, however their excellent Prodigy P2 # 90885 will work fine with such trailer braking systems as it allows you to select this operation mode from its main menu screen.
Since you already have a 4-pole harness to install this you will need only our # ETBC7 installation kit, which includes the 7-way and all wiring components required to completely install the Prodigy. The linked videos will guide your installation.
