What Is The Weight Of The Head And Base Individually For B&W Companion

Question:

I know that the total hitch weight is 148 lbs. I would like to know the separate weights of the hitch head and base. I think that 148 lbs is beyond my capabilities, but if I remove the headinch separately, trying to determine if I can remove hitch from truck bed singlehandedly. Thanks!

The weight of the Companion # BWRVK3300 at 148 lbs is a bit much to handle by yourself but you are right in thinking the head and base are manageable.

The base weighs about 75-lbs and the head weighs right around 70-lbs. Those weights are much easier to handle than the total weight of the Companion.

The # BWRVK3300 Companion will work great with the factory rail kit on your 2017 F-350.

If you need a 7-way in the bed of your truck for your trailer I recommend part # C56000.
