Friction Bar Sway Control Installation and Recommendations

Can you use this sway control on the driver side as well in case I need 2 sway control kits?

Yes. You can use two friction sway control bars like # 83660 on your trailer. For one bar, you can use a mount like # RP26003 or # RP26005. If you need to use two and don't have a weight distribution style head to accommodate that application, you can use # 3442 which is a weld on application for the driver's side. I've attached an article to help. If your trailer is over 6000 lbs or 26 feet long, two bars are recommended, but you can choose to have more sway control even if you are not at those measurements.
