Recommended Wiring Harness For 2017 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

I saw you have a Curt wiring harness for a 2017 Toyota Tacoma. Honestly it seems like overkill for my needs. I am towing a light utility trailer and dont need the extra power supply that taps off the battery. Do you have a harness that just plugs into the tail lights of the Tacoma?

The wiring harness confirmed to fit your 2017 Toyota Tacoma requires a battery line being added. This is really to protect your wiring system. The powered converter reduces strain on a factory system and protects the system. I know it seems like more work to add a power line to the battery, because it is more work, however the work will give you peace of mind knowing that your converter will function correctly and keep your factory wiring from malfunction which isn't always easy to fix.
