For your 2017 Ford F-150, I recommend using the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BO74FR. These are a custom fit for your vehicle. I recommend using threadlocker like # LT37420 when installing these base plates.
For a tow bar, I recommend the Blue Ox Avail Tow Bar - Motor Home Mount - 10,000 lbs # BX7420 which comes with the safety cables. You may also want the lock kit # BX88177 to secure this investment.
For your vehicle wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This will connect the motorhome to your truck and will allow you to utilize the vehicle wiring while protecting it as well. It will give you a clean connection at the front of your truck as well.
For your supplemental braking, I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251. This is a system that will allow your truck brakes to operate at the same time and with the same intensity as you hit the brakes in your motorhome. Because this system uses your brake lights for information to function, the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 is needed to sync the systems. This braking system needs no adjustment after the initial install.
The last thing you will need is a high-low adapter and I've attached an article to help you determine what you need. I've also linked the page to these adapters for you.
That will complete your setup and allow you to safely flat tow your 2017 Ford F-150.
