Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar Compatibility With Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit On 2017 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
I have a Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain Model 576 tow bar. Will be changing tow vehicle to 2017 Jeep Wrangler. Want to be sure that RM-521448-5 will work with my tow bar. Thanks !

The Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521448-5 are a confirmed fit for your 2017 Jeep Wrangler and is compatible with your Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain # RM-576.
For your wiring, I recommend using the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This will use your factory wiring, and yet protect it from overload as well as give you a nice clean connection to your motorhome. You'll also have a backup cable in case your tow bar wire goes bad.
For your supplemental braking system, if you don't already have one, I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251. This system only needs to be adjusted once when set up initially.
You may also need a hi-low adapter for your application. I've attached an article and a link to assist. Let me know if you have further questions.
