Comparing Tekonsha Trailer Breakaway Systems
Question:
What is the difference between the Tekonsha 50-85-313 and the 2020? There is a big price jump, but I cant see what components are the same/ different. Thank you.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Tekonsha breakaway kit # 50-85-313 is an all-in-one type of set up in which the charger is integrated into the lid of the battery box. Kits # 2028 and # 20020 both have a separate external charger that is, to put it bluntly, better than the one integrated into the lid of the other kit. They are all good options though and I am certain you would be happy with any of the 3. I have included links to videos for all 3 kits for you.
