Recommended Strobe Warning Light To Use While Snow Plowing
Question:
Hi, Im thinking, we need a Strobe Warning Beacon, which could be slipped into the hitch receiver and stick up to the top of the tailgate or a bit higher and be powered from the trailer wiring connector, while plowing snow, etc.. Regards,

We do offer strobe warning beacon lights, and some are battery powered while others can be wired to a connector and used with your vehicle trailer connector.
I recommend a light like part # STR16JP. This light has a 2-wire system with black being the ground and the red wire is positive. Since you want to use your trailer connector to operate the light you can wire this light to a 4-way connector like part # W787264. You would attach the black wire from the light to the white wire on the harness fro ground. Then attach the red wire from the light to the brown wire on the harness. Just cap the other two wires because they are for turn signals. You will need to make sure your truck lights are on when using this.
This light is designed to be permanently mounted. We do not have a mount as you described so you will need to come up with a mounting system. We do have a trailer hitch flagpole mount # CAM51611 you may be able to use for the light. You would need to find a way to extend the upright arm of the mount and attach a plate to install the light on.
