Trailer Tire Recommendation for Size 225/75-15
Question:
I am now using Maxxis 225-75-15 load range D, I run at 65lbs. If I go to the same tine in load range E and run at 65lbs, ould this make sense?? I am looking for a safer tire. My rig is 9900 loaded.

With trailer tires you always have to run the max pressure listed for them on the sidewall of the tire to ensure you get the full capacity of it.
If you are looking to replace your tires I would go with the part # TTWTRTM2257515D which is the size you need in the same Load Range. Capacity is 2,540 lbs at 65 psi too.
What I really like about this tire is that it has a higher speed rating at 81 mph when compared to other trailer tires.
