Can CIPA Comp II Rearview Boat Mirror Be Mounted On Electronics Box On Boat
Question:
I have a center console boat with a over head electronics box .i am looking for a reasonably priced good quality mirror that can be bolted to the underside of the e box. This unit looks like I could remove the windshield clamp and use the same holes to mount to the box. Do you think this would work?

The CIPA Comp II Rearview Boat Mirror, part # CM11081 is designed for mounting on windshields but you may be able to attach it to the Electronics box you said you have on your boat. If you remove the included thumbscrews you may be able to use the holes in the mount to attach the mirror.
You may have to modify the mount to be able to install it in your boat so please be aware that any modification will void the warranty of the mirror.
