Availability of Adjustable Ball Mount that will Fit a 3 inch Trailer Hitch
Question:
I have a 2017 truck on order, and I dislike the adapters Ford uses. The specs say its a 3 inch receiver with sleeves to adapt to 2 1/2 and 2 inch, and I have used the adapters on customer trucks. My question is about the 3/4 hitch pin, since I remember the adapters used the 2 inch/ 5/8ths pin. Would I have to drill out my receiver? Is there a 3 inch ball mount specifically for the new Fords? I pull a 17,000 trailer.
