We are going to have the correct 5th wheel that will work for you. Now, it's recommended that on short bed vehicles that a slider 5th wheel hitch should be used to ensure you will have enough clearance between your trailer and the cab of your 2017 Ford F-250 when making sharp turns.
I recommend that Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel, like # DM8550035 for the hitch and # DM8552031-71 for the bed rails and custom installation kit. The Demco Autoslide is rated at a 21K lbs capacity and will give 14 inches of travel from front to back. The distance will give you the extra clearance needed to make your sharp turns without the possibility of damaging your trailer and truck's cab. What I liked the most about the Demco Hijacker hitch is the Autoslide feature. The Demco hitch will engage the slider mechanism automatically when making your turns. There is no need to exit the cab of the vehicle to manually engage and disengage the slider like on the majority of the slider 5th wheel hitches on the market today. The only disadvantage of the Demco hitch is its high price point compared to other slider hitches.
I also recommend the 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug, # 54701-007. This 90-degree plug will allow you retain the use of your factory Ford 7-way, but relocates the connection in the bed of the truck to make for an easier connection between your vehicle and your trailer.
I have linked product and an installation video, as well as a FAQ article on 5th wheels for you to review.
