Does Torklift 7-Way Extension Require Mounting Bracket on Hitch Extender

Question:

We need to put an 18inch hitch receiver extender #45796 onto our factory-installed hitch on our 2016 Ford F250 SD to allow for the overhang of a truck camper and still permit towing. We will be using a Torklift 7-pin 3-way wiring extension to connect both our truck camper and cargo trailer to our pickup. Is this extra bracket necessary? Or is there something already on the above parts that will accommodate the wiring extension? Thanks.

For a 7-way extension to go with the Curt Extender part # C45796 the part # TLW6021 would be the best option.

The bracket part # C58000 would be your best option as it will hold the 7-way socket which can be hard to keep off the ground but if you wanted to wrap the harness around the extender to keep it off the ground that is an option as well.
