Recommended Hitch Mount Platform Bike Rack for 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible

I would like a bike rack that you can set the bike on and is secured by the wheels. The bike is standing straight up. Any ideas?

Our most popular platform rack that fits a Class I hitch receiver is the Kuat Transfer # KU74FR. The Transfer holds the bikes exclusively by the wheels and makes no contact with the frame. One of the reasons it's so popular is because it can be tilted away from the vehicle to access the rear compartment without removing the bikes from the rack.
If you don't already have a trailer hitch receiver the Curt Class I # C11354 is confirmed to fit your 2013 Volkswagen Beetle convertible. If you use the Curt hitch you'll be required by their warranty to use as stabilization strap, # 18050, when carrying a bike rack
