Goose Box or Companion Hitch to Tow Gooseneck Trailer w/2015 GMC Sierra 2500 w/B&W Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
Have B & W turnover ball installed on truck, looking to purchase a Goose Box. I recently purchased a 2015 GMC 2500 Denali and Im strongly considering purchasing a 2007 Montego Bay 35foot 5th wheel camper with 3 slides. After a great deal of research, I thinking of purchasing a goose box to replace the current hitch on the camper if I purchase it, which I probably will. Installed on my truck is the B and W turnover ball. I dont have the pin box information yet but was curious as to what goose box would be recommended for the camper Im looking to purchase?

There are 3 Goose Box options and they fit in place of different pin boxes. So you really would have to know the pin box manufacturer and model number to see if any of them fit. Otherwise they all function the same way.
# RP85FR fits in place of Lippert 0719, 1621, and 1621HD pin boxes and Fabex PB-600 series pin boxes and it is rated for 20,000 pounds.
# RP94720 fits in place of Lippert 1621 and 1621HD pin boxes and is rated for 20,000 pounds.
# RP94716-61301 fits in place of Lippert 0115, 1116, and 1716 pin boxes and is rated for 16,000 pounds.
Another option is to use a B&W Companion hitch instead of replacing the pin box on the trailer. If your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 is a long bed use # BWRVK3500. If you have the short bed use # BWRVK3400.
