If your 2008 Ford Super Duty came with the factory installed 7-Way trailer connector then all you would need for it is a 7- to 5-Way adapter # A75TB. If your truck came with the factory 4-Way then you would need adapter # 20036 and the blue wire will splice into a reverse light wire on the truck.
Then for the trailer you can install a 5-Way wiring harness # HM47910. The existing light wires can splice to this harness but for reverse lights you would need to add wire, # 16-1-1 sold by the foot, to run from the front of the trailer back to the lights.
