How To Determine What Replacement Hubs And Bearings Are Needed For Camper
Question:
I have a 1996 Jayco Eagle 10UD and I would like to replace the wheel bearings and if possible the hubs. The hubs it came with have bolts to attach the wheel, can you recommend a replacement hub/bearing assembly that has studs and lug nuts to attach the wheel? I have never liked this setup and as long as I am taking it apart I would like to replace the hubs. Thanks,

In order to replace the bearings or the hubs there are a few things we would need to know. First, you can check the bearing numbers on your camper and we can tell what you would need as a replacement.
If you cannot read the numbers on your bearings you can use a digital caliper like part # PTW80157 to measure the spindle where the bearings ride and also measure the inside dimension of the hub you have and we can find a replacement for you.
I have attached a drawing that shows where you can typically find the bearing numbers or where you can measure on the spindle.
