Bike Rack Recommendation for 2013 Audi Allroad that Prevents all Bike-to-Bike Contact
Question:
I am installing a hitch on my audi allroad 2013. I want a bike rack that does not allow for bikes to touch since on a previous 4 rack carrier my bikes where scratched. Also one that allows for the back gate of the car to open while the rack is on. Need recomendations . Thanks

Since all of the hitches for your 2013 Audi Allroad are Class I hitches like the # C11195, which means they are very light-duty, you would be limited to carrying only two bikes with the vehicle. We do have great two-bike options that prevent all contact between the bikes when travelling.
My favorite option is the Thule T2 Classic 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" Hitches, part # TH9045. This compatible rack only touches your bikes at the tires and keeps the two totally separate. Also, this rack is very sturdy and comes with locks and anti-rattle devices. I attached a review video for more info.
