Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2005 Allegro Open Road 32BA on Workhorse Chassis

Question:

I have a 2005 Allegro Open Road 32BA. Workhorse chassis with Chevy motor and Allissison 1000 Trans. Can I add an addionial Trans cooler, if yes what would you recommend ?

Transmission coolers are not vehicle specific so you can install one on your RV. Generally we recommend going with the largest cooler that will fit in the available space under the hood. Or you could go with a stacked plate cooler that is smaller but more efficient. I actually recommend the stacked plate design because they are so efficient. For a kit that comes with a cooler, mounting hardware, hose, and fittings use # D13403. I have also included a link to our help article on transmission coolers for you.
