On your 2010 Ford Edge, to install the Curt Custom-Fit Trailer Hitch, # C13067, you will need to use the included fish wires to help pull the mounting bolt through the frame of your vehicle.

To install the bolts on to the fish wires you will need to thread the bolts on to the coil end of the fish wire. Then you will thread the other end of the fish wire through frame of your Ford Edge until the threaded end of the bolt will be accessible to mount the hitch.

I have included an installation video of this Curt hitch , # C13067, that will demonstrate how to use the fish wires to help install the mounting bolts. I suggest watching the whole video, but the instructions on how to use the fish wires starts at the 6:35 minute point of the video.
