Comparison of Kenda and Taskmaster 235/85R16 Trailer Tires
Question:
I am trying to decide between the Kenda Karrier HD AM10501 and the Taskmaster Provider TTWPRG235R16 tires. What, if any are the major differences? What is the Country of Origin for each of these options? I have already purchased Dextar #AM20794 rims and I will be installing them on a 12,000lb, equipment trailer. From the looks of things I should have purchased a mounted set.

The Kenda Karrier # AM10501 and Taskmaster Provider # TTWPRG235R16 are both 235/85R16 sized tires that are quite similar. The main difference is the Load Range and therefore load capacity. The Kendas have a Load Range F with a maximum capacity of 3,960 pounds at 95 psi and the Taskmasters have a Load Range G with a maximum capacity of 4,400 pounds at 110 psi.
Both are manufactured in Asia. As are nearly all tires these days, unfortunately.
If you haven't already gotten them you'll need valve stems to go with your Dexstar # AM20794. The Americana # AM20906 are bolt in and rated for over 100 psi, which you'll need.
