We can determine the axle length you need by measuring your current axle from the hub face (surface where the wheel attaches) to the opposite hub face. Then you will need to measure from the center of the leaf spring to the center of the other leaf spring. You can determine the capacity by measuriing the diameter of your axle.
- 1,000-lb - 2,000-lb Axles: 1-1/2 inch - 1-3/4 inch diameter
- 3,500-lb Axles: 2-3/8 inch diameter
- 6,000-lb - 7,200-lb Axles: 3 inch diameter
- 8,000-lb Axles: 3-1/2 inch diameter
- 9,000-lb Axles: 4 inch diameter
- 10,000-lb Or more axles: 5 inch diameter
Sometimes there is sticker or plate on the axle that gives the capacity, or there is a serial number stamped on the axle and we can contact the manufacturer to get all of the specs.
