Vehicle Side Quick Connector Availability For Brake Controller Harness Installation

I have a 2016 GMC Canyon SLT V6 . It has the blunt cut wire bundle under the dash to connect to a trailer brake controller. What Im looking for is a plug that would normally come with a truck from the factory to be able to connect to the blunt cut wires. I want it short. And then have the right 2 plug wire coming from my controller with one end that has the plug to go into the controller and the other end to plug into the new arrangement Im asking about. Does such a thing exist. Ive searched everywhere and cant find the part. I just dont understand how GM could put a plug on their full size trucks, and not be able to find that part to also use on my Canyon.

We don't have a connecter for the vehicle end quick connect like you mentioned. I'm sure such a thing exists, but I'm not sure there is an aftermarket option available. I recommend using the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers, # 3016 and getting the part you are looking for from a local junk yard to make it compatible.

Your other option is to use a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, # 90195, which comes with a quick disconnect at the brake controller and wiring to hardwire to your dash. This still gives you a quick disconnect, just not two quick disconnects like the factory version connection with the wiring harness adapter.
