How to Determine if Transmission Cooler Will Fit In Front of the Radiator on a 1999 Chevy Silverado
Question:
Sir I have a 99 Chevy Silverado 2500 6 liter engine pickup I want to replace the factory cooler with the Derale stacked-plate coolr. Do you know if this cooler will fit in the area in front of the radiator?

For transmission coolers you have to go by their dimensions compared to the available space where you want to install it. Stacked plate cooler # D51908 is 13 inches across, 7-7/16 inches tall, and 2 inches deep. If you have more than this much space in front of the radiator then it will fit your 1999 Chevy Silverado.
This particular cooler is not a kit so it doesn't come with any hose or mounting components. To mount it you can use # D50020. For hose you can use # D15799 and clamps # D13008. And to avoid having to cut and flare factory lines you can use fitting # D13018.
