Replacement 7-Way Connector for a 1999 GMC Sierra Pickup
Question:
Looking at Pollak PK11916 but my original bracket is pretty twisted, so maybe the Hopkins 30955. I have 99 GMC Serria 1500 with the trailer package, so it is easiest to just plug it in. Is the 30995 and exact plugin for my truck?. i can use the few inches to relocate the new bracket so I think that is acceptable. Comments or better recommendation?

The Hopkins 7-way and 4-way connectors, # 30955, is a replacement connector for you 1999 GMC Sierra. I do like the Hopkins connector of over the Pollak the you referenced because the Hopkins has the mounting bracket and OEM plug attached.
The Pollak connector, PK11916, is designed to mount in a already made hole in the bumper of the vehicle. The Hopkins connector gives you the ability to mount the 7-way along the bumper where the best connection between your vehicle and trailer be made.
