What Hardware Should Be Used To Install Erickson Horizontal E-Track To 2X8 Trailer Deck Boards

What exactly is or should be used to fasten/attach Erickson etrack to a utility trailer deck made of 2x8 lumber?

The hardware you use to attach the # E19148 E-Track to your trailer deck is really up to you.
You will want to make sure the hardware is long enough to go through the E-Track and the 2x8 and still have enough length to use washers with the nuts. I recommend stainless steel or zinc plated hardware so you don't have to worry about corrosion. The best way to attach it is to use hardware in every other hole on the track. The hardware should be available at any local hardware store.
You may want to consider using backing plates like # e96RR for strength and support.
