On this question for a 2016 Golf R, part #119250KIT was mentioned in the reply by Michael. question #195767 Is the #119250KIT still the recommended kit for the mk7 Golf R. I have a 2014 mk7 Golf R.

The ZCI harness # 119250KIT is one of the wiring harnesses that you can use on the 2014 Volkswagen Golf. It is the only one that does not require splicing into the wiring on the vehicle. The other option, # C59236, requires splicing into the vehicle wiring.
