Adapter Needed to Install Reese 16k Fifth Wheel Hitch in 2017 Ford F-350 with Factory Rail Kit
Question:
I have traded in my 2014 f250 for a 2017 f350 6 3/4 box . the old truck had a reese 16k hitch. The trailer has a revolution hitch and my question is can I use this same hitch in my 2017 that has a fifth wheel prep package or do I need an adapter to make it all fit ?

To use your Reese 16k hitch # RP30047 in the bed of your 2017 Ford F-350 with the factory rail kit will require you to use the adapter part # RP30156. This will give you a rail set that your hitch is designed to fit and will fit the pucks of your truck. You'll also need the custom wedge kit # SWW-03 to prevent the king pin of your Reese Revolution from pivoting in the jaws of the hitch.
