The most popular cargo carrier for 2013 Ford Explorer owner's is Pro Series carrier # 63153. This is a 24 inch by 60 inch carrier rated for a maximum of 500 pounds or the vehicle or hitch tongue weight capacity, whichever is lower. It fits in a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver opening.
This carrier can also be fitted with a light kit, # 20174. I have linked a video on the carrier and a link to the most popular hitch mounted cargo carriers for the 2013 Ford Explorer.
If you do not already have a trailer hitch you can use # 76034. And if you need to add a 4-Way trailer connector use # 118540.
