Suspension Enhancement on a Trailer that Bottoms Out

Question:

Hi. I need help to find a product. I have a 2009 27foot Outback Loft which is also a toy hauler. Once a year I take it hunting and have to get it down a difficult road with a creek crossing that it always bottoms out on. I do not want to permanently lift the trailer with an over/under kit - what I want is to find an appropriate or universal airbag kit that can temporarily add some inches to the trailer height for a few minutes of slow/loaded towing. I envision it being very similar to a rear leaf-spring-axle pickup truck airbag helper kit for 1/2-tons that carry a slide-in box camper. Air-up to max for creek crossing, then back to empty for normal highway use. Could you PLEASE point me in the right direction that wont cost me thousands of dollars? Much thanks in advance!!

We don't offer airbags, like what is normally installed on a tow vehicle, for trailers. We do have jounce-style helper springs that may work for you. The Timbren Trailer Suspension Enhancement System # TTRA1702 install onto your trailer's frame and help support the existing suspension. They are likely to help you from bottoming out when crossing the creek however they will make every day driving pretty rough. So if this is the route you go I recommend installing them when you're going hunting and removing them for any other trip.
