Recommended Brake Assemblies And Hub Assemblies For Lippert 7,000 lb Axle  

Question:

I want to make sure I am getting the right brakes and hubs to replace the ones on my tandem Lippert axles. Please send an email and I will provide detailed info on what I have and what I think I need. Thanks

Thanks for the picture. For your 7,000 lb Lippert axle, I recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Assembly - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Right Hand - 5,200 lbs to 7,000 lbs, # AKEBRK-7R-SA, and for the left side the matching # AKEBRK-7L-SA. These brakes need to be adjusted when installed originally and then the self-adjusting system will take over and ensure you have proper braking within the assembly.

For your hubs, I recommend the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 7,000-lb Axles - 12" Diameter - 8 on 6-1/2, # AKHD-865-7-2-K. This will give you the inner bearing and race, the outer bearing and race, the grease seal, grease cap, and nuts for the 1/2 inch studs included. This is compatible with Lippert axles.
