For your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71, I recommend the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms, # RM-3176-1. This base plate kit will work seamlessly with the Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motor Home Mount - 2" Hitch - 10K, # RM-422 you referenced. I recommend a hitch lock like the # e98882 to secure your tow bar to your RV.

For safety cables, I recommend the Roadmaster 80" Coiled Safety Cables - Double Hook - 10,000 lbs - Qty 2, # RM-653. They vinyl coating will prevent scratches on your tow bar and the coiled design prevents dragging and tangling.

For your wiring needs, I recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, # RM-154. This diode kit allows you to use your Silverado 1500's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV. It includes the 4-way flat extention to connect your RV to your Silverado. You most likely will want some cable ties like # DW05726-25 for installation. You will also need the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch for Towed Vehicle w/ Supplemental Braking System, # RM-766 for your vehicle which requires the battery be disconnected when being flat towed.

For your supplimental braking system the SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes - Proportional, # SM99243, is a great system. It uses the air pressure from your RV's brakes to apply the brakes in your truck. This is a truly proportional braking system that will apply the brakes in your truck with the same force that you apply the brakes in your RV. The LED coach notification system illuminates when the towed vehicle's brakes are applied. This system will give you a very natural braking feel and includes a breakaway. I've attached the installation video on a similar vehicle for you.

This will give you your complete system. The only other thing you may need is a high-low adapter and I've attached an article on how to choose one specific to your RV and truck needs.
