Recommended Wiring for Softside Truck Camper and Boat Trailer On 2014 Ram 1500

Question:

Hi I am going to put a softside truck camper on my 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 and also will be pulling a boat. I will need some type of splitter I imagine for the connection to the trucks power to the trailer and camper. Can you help me determine what i need for both? thanks

If you have a factory 7 way on your 2014 Ram 1500, I recommend the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug # 41157. This will give you a 7-way in the bed of your truck as well as keep the 7-way at your bumper functional for towing.

If you only need a 4 way for your boat, I recommend using the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, # 118384. This will allow your 7-way to be functional and adds a 4 way trailer connection as well.
