Best ST235/80R16 Sized Tires for Highway Speeds

Question:

Tire size now is ST 235 80 16. Brand is Westlake not sure about that as a replacement. We travel about 10,000 miles a year and run Tire minder TPS on the trailer tires. Would like run at posted speeds up to 70 mph. What is your best recommendation for our use.

I recommend the Taskmaster Provider # TTWPRG235R16. This is a ST235/80R16 sized tire with a speed rating M which is a maximum of 81 mph. It has a load range G with a max load of 4,400 pounds at 110 psi. Using a monitoring system is a great practice since you always want to inflate your trailer tires to their maximum psi when the tires are cold.

You'll also need metal valve stems if you don't already have them. The Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem # AM20906 is rated for over 100 psi.
