Needing the Dimension of the Powerbuilt Adjustable Tire Step # ALL647596

Question:

I know it will fit on my Jeep Patriot, but not sure it will fit on my enclosed trailer, where fender-to-tire clearance is smaller. How much clearance do I need? If you can tell me the width of the square red tubes, then I can calculate the diagonal, which is the clearance Id need down the curved side of the tire. Thanks. How much does it weigh? Thinking about storage and carting it around with my other stored gear. thanks.

The measurement on the red square tube is almost 21-3/4 inches on the outside of the tube. The inside of the tube measured 19-1/2 inches.

The square tube measures 7/8 x 7/8 of an inch square. The over all dimensions of the step is 4-5/8 inches deep x 22 inches wide. The step will a tire up to 13 inches wide.

The Powerbuilt Adjustable Tire Step # ALL647596 weighs approximately 12 lbs.
