Tire Tie Downs for E-Track in an Enclosed Trailer for a Sports Car

Question:

I have an enclosed trailer and a very low sports car that Id like to tie down with 4 straps, one ea over each wheel. Do you have a video that shows a car being secured to a track system? What if different cars have different wheelbases or track width? Thanks

For your trailer the tracks have openings that go front to back. To secure vehicle tires you would need the openings to run left to right like # E19148. Then you could use # 77314 which has e-track fittings. But we can make it work by using a couple of tie downs, # E59143, and ratchet straps such as # EM34416.

If a vehicle has smaller or larger tires you would just place the tie downs in the appropriate spots on the tracks. Vehicles that are wider or narrower may still work on the same track, depending on tire width, otherwise you could add additional tracks or, if there are tracks at the front, center of the trailer, you could use an axle tie down kit such as # 08504-05 with tie downs like # E59143 mentioned earlier.
