Compatibility of Reese Titan 5th Wheel Hitch with Pro Series Base Rails in 2006 GMC Sierra

Question:

I want to replace my existing Pro series 15000 Kwik-Slide Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch with the REESE Titan 30869 Fifth Wheel with Slider 16000 lb Load Capacity. I have Bed Rails mounted in my 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD that are stamped CM1. Will I be able to use these with the new hitch?

Industry-standard 5th wheel base rails (ISRs) share compatibility with any brand or type of 5th wheel hitch that is designed for this mounting method. Base rails from your Pro Series set up will work fine with a Reese Titan, or a Curt, B&W or any other brand of 5th wheel hitch intended for installation in industry-standard above-bed base rails. Please refer to the linked photo.

In your 2006 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Series with 6-1/2-foot bed a custom-fit rail kit like # RP50064-58 will work great with any standard 5th wheel such as the Curt A20 slider # C16541.
