Recommend Folding Hitch Cargo Carrier To Carry Suitcases
Question:
Hey guys, I was wondering if this product would be appropriate to carry a coupe of suitcases to and from the airport. The suitcases are about 50lbs each. We will be driving on the highway for about two hours with them.

The item you selected, Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier, part # C18151, will work great to carry luggage. To use this carrier, you must have a 2 Inch trailer hitch on your vehicle or have one installed.
To keep your luggage secured to the cargo carrier, I would recommend an assortment of Bungee cords. You could start with 4-6 each of lengths such as: # EM06664 19" and # EM06656 24" and 2-3 each of the lengths such as # EM06658 36" and # EM06668 42".
To secure the hitch cargo carrier to your vehicles hitch, I would recommend Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock, part # e98880, which is a locking hitch pin.
