Will Brake Controller Rated for Two Brake Axles Work on Tandem Axle Trailer
Question:
I need to buy an electric brake controller, so silly question for you..the most I will ever be towing is a dual axled trailer. Is the 1 to 2inch axle controller sufficient?

Yes, if you only ever plan to tow up to a 2 axle trailer then a brake controller that is rated for up to two brake assemblies would work just fine. The Tekonsha PowerTrac part # 39523 would be a great option for this as it is our best selling controller for up to 2 axles.
To install it in your 1997 Dodge Ram would only require the install harness part # 3020-P.
