Recommended Rear Camera System For Vehicle And Trailer With Switching View Monitor.

I would like to have bot a hitch camera and a also rear view camera on the back of my car hauler trailer with one monitor that can be switched to view them separately. Is it possible to add additional cameras to this system? If not, do you have a system that has several cameras.

I reached out to my contact at Rear View Safety for some help with this specific application, and I recommend the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit - 2 Cameras, # RVS-776614-213. This system will give you the back up camera for your truck and will give you an infrared night vision camera on your trailer. Both cameras will connect to a 7 inch monitor that will automatically switch between the two cameras. There is a trailer tow quick connect/disconnect kit included that will give you a wire pigtail to connect your truck to your trailer. This is perfect for a 5th wheel or travel trailer application. I've attached the installation details for you.

Unfortunately, the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System, # HM50002 does not have the two camera ability.
