Can Dielectric Grease Be Used On A/C Electrical Cord Connections  

Question:

I like thisproduct Dielectric grease. I want to use this on an outdoor extention cord that plugs in to a school bus. the ext. cord plugs into a cord on the back of the bus for overnight storage. will this work on the ac connection. The prongs are all corroded andhard to mate with the longer cord. Appreciate any help you can supply. thx

The first thing I recommend is to clean the prongs on the plugs you mentioned are corroded. You can use light grit sandpapaer to get them clean and then use the dielectric grease, part # 11755.

This will help prevent future corrosion and also helps keep dirt out of the connections.
