Will Hopkins Adapter 47435 Plug In To 6-Way and Provide 7-Way
Question:
If i use this part, in essence i will be able to haul 3 different trailers, correct? Ill have the 4 pin, and 6 pin that is already installed, and would be able to plug this adapter in and run a 7 pin trailer hookup, correct? There is a draw tite Activator II brake controller hooked up already as well. I dont have anything that uses a 6 pin but i guess it would be nice to be able to if need be. The other option is replacing the 6 pin with one of the 7 pin hookups yall offer? 1997 GMC Suburban 2500

You are correct. If you are looking for a way to tow a trailer with a 6-way, 4-way, and 7-way for your truck that already has the 6 and 4-way the part # 47435 would be the correct adapter to get as it will plug into the 6-way and give you a 7-way.
