Most weight distribution systems are not going to have enough space on your trailer. However, the Reese Steadi-Flex # RP66560 needs only 27 to 32 inches from the hitch ball to mount the brackets, depending on your tongue weight. If you look at the attached instrucstions, it shows the mounting location information on page 4.
This particular system is rated up to 1,200 pounds tongue weight. With a 7,000 pound trailer, like yours, the tongue weight will likely fall under this by a bit. A trailer's tongue weight is approximately 10 to 15 perecent of its total weight. Plus, for weight distribution you will want to add in any weight that is behind the rear axle of your 2012 Toyota Tundra.
You will also need a hitch ball. For a 2 inch ball you can use # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch # 19286. Both will fit the Reese Steadi-Flex system.
