Expert Reply:

Mounting two cargo boxes on your rack will depend if you have enough room to fit more than one roof cargo box on your vehicle's roof. Both boxes will have to be secured to both crossbars and fit the width of your roof rack.

Many of the cargo boxes that we carry have widths that are lager than half the width of your crossbars. Most will not fit side by side on a roof rack. However, the Sport Rack Horizon Rooftop Cargo Box # SR7011 is one of the smaller width roof boxes that we carry. This Sport Rack box measures 21 inches wide and will give you enough room to fit on your 52 inch bars. Beware, this cargo carrier only opens on the passenger side. So if you mount two side by side, accessing the cargo box on the driver's side my be difficult.

I recommend the Yakima Sky Box 12 Roof Cargo Box # Y07334 over the Sport Rack box, because the Yakima cargo box can open either on the driver's or passenger's side of the vehicle. The Yakima Sky Box has 12 cubic feet of cargo space and more cost effective than the Sport Rack cargo carrier. The Yakima cargo box measures 24 inches wide and should still fit your 52 inch bars.

Again, just remember not to overload the bars over 160 lbs if you add a second roof cargo box.
