Recommended Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch For 2016 Ram 2500
Question:
Thanks for the advice Jeffrey. I would like to put a gooseneck on my Fifth Wheel so I don't have to mess with the companion. my coworker said he runs a gooseneck with an offset to make sure he has enough room not to hit the fifth wheel with the cab of his truck. I think I want to go with that type of set up. just have never seen one in action. Thanks for your advice in advance .

For an under bed gooseneck hitch I recommend the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, part # BWGNRK1384.
This comes with a custom installation kit. The hitch has spring-loaded safety-chain hookups built in. The hitch ball can be removed and flipped upside down in the hitch for storage when you are not towing. The gooseneck can be used with a Companion fifth wheel hitch if you ever need to tow a fifth wheel.
If you need a wiring harness for your trailer I recommend part # 41157.
