Can Small Lights Appliances be Ran Off of Battery Installed in Trailer

Question:

I have a 16x7x6 enclosed dog hauler for my dogs and my camping comfort. I would like to camp in places that have no electricity BUT would like to have some light options inside and outside as well as 2 small fans to move warm air when winter camping. I have NO CLUE how to figure out how to make this happen. How many batteries would I need to have in order to power such? What do I need to install regarding outlets, breakers, wiring, charging device, etc. LITERALLY, I have no idea and am over my head once I read all of the online sources.

Depending on how long you are camping and how many accessories you need to run and for how long will dictate how big of a battery power source you would need to use.

For what you are doing most people use a standard car battery in their trailer to power some small LED lights. LED lights hardly draw anything so they would be the way to go. For interior you would want the part # RVILL34. For an interior/exterior light that is also LED you would want the # ILL22CB.

The part # 37185 can be used as a way to charge the battery you have in the trailer as well. The pin in the 1:00 position would be the 12 volt accessory circuit and the circuit to run to the positive post of the battery to put a maintenance charge on it. The black wire of the harness would get ran to the positive post of the vehicle battery through a 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) through a breaker like part # 9510.
