Recommended Brake Controller And Trailer Wiring Harness On 2016 Honda Pilot With 4-Way
Question:
How difficult isnt to install a.brake.controller and 7 pin in a 2016 pilot. I did the hitch and 4.pin within 20 mins. I am a electrician and car guy

Since you are an electrician the installation of a brake conroller and the 7-way harness should pose no problem.
The brake controller I recommend is the Tekonsha P3, part # 90195. This is one of our most popular because it is easy to install and operate.
You will want the Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller, part # ETBC7. This attaches to your 4-way at the rear of your 2016 Pilot and you will then need to complete the wiring as shown in the attached drawing. This will give you a working 4-way and 7-way trailer connector.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
